I got a a few email queries about sunglasses for the summer.

Well, there are three trending sunglasses at the moment.

First are are the the round-framed sunglasses which are very retro and ‘John Lennon’ as some would call them. As seen on several celebrities such as Keri Hilson, Nicki Minaj, Gaga and Beyonce. These glasses, strangely seem to flatter quite a wide range of face shapes.

Birthday girl who just turned 32, Kim Kardashian showed up looking mint in one of my favourite colours, royal blue. Her draped gown with tantalizing slits was all the colour she needed after a string of monochrome outfits. Her boyfriend Kanye was looking dapper as well.

Stooshe were in attendance for the Q Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. They looked amazeballs in their LBDs and gold chain link belts.

Emeli Sande opted for simplicity in a denim jacket and white dress.

Yvonne Nelson is easily one of the best breakout stars of 2012 in terms of fashion. Girl has stepped up her game like no man’s bizness. Loving the new swag. She recently posted this hot photo of herself on Instagram at the Ghana Movie Awards and said:

Aqua also make an orange and pink version for lovers of colour. Yvonne went without the gold belt accessory that the model is weraing with the dress. She also rocked a pair of gold pumps. Overall, she looked HOT! Knock ‘em dead Yvy!

Ashanti was spotted in NYC yesterday as she and her fabulous Mom stepped out to promote her starring role on hit series “Army Wives.”  Ashanti donned a £ 1,785 Stella McCartney Green Mesh Insert Colour-Block Dress with a pair of £765 Azzedine Alaïa Circle-Detail Suede Sandals. She accessorized statement earrings and a leather bolero. My verdict? Gorge. She’s glowing even though her hair team needs a good ass whooping for that (wig?) weave.

A sequel to my previous post.

Day 2: 

After a hefty French breakfast out on the town, I made no hesitation to hit the famous Nice beach. The seas were warm and blue, just the way I like it.

Neon bikini suit: Roxy

I practically spent all day at the beach on Day 2. But the next day I was ready for some Monte-Carlo sightseeing!

Monte-Carlo is the capital of Monaco which is small country just out of France. It’s mainly populated by yacht-owning business gurus and beautiful rides

We went on a short boat tour…:)

I am usually afraid of the water because I don’t even know how to swim but by Day 3 I had gathered enough gusto to go on a boating parachute with Matt who claimed he wasn’t scared at all…

The ride was such an adrenaline rush! Especially as we went really far out and THEN got dipped into the Mediterranean. Oh lawd.

We stayed for a nice and refreshing dip after the thrilling ride.

Later that evening, Matt and I went for a nice walk around the Vieux Nice. The many shops and people give it a lot of character.

One thing I’ve learned from this trip? Pack less next time. I had a suitcase full of potential ‘dressed-to-kill’ outfits and shoes and never even wore them! It was just too blistering hot to bother wearing heels etc and I just ended up wearing my poor ole faithful flats EVERY SINGLE time. 

My hair was another story. Excuse it’s flatness/frizziness. There’s only so much blow-drying/straightening a girl can do when you’re in the water 24/7

The only time I dressed up was on the last day when we went out for a meal. I haven’t uploaded pictures of that day yet . I will upload a full post on the outfit details in my Outfit Diaries but here’s a sneak pic of the outfit.

Whew! Finally there you have it. Most of the pictures from my short stay in Nice. I’d definitely go back there in a heartbeat.

Queen Bey turned 32 on September 4th and was surrounded by her loved ones – including husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy aboard a luxury yacht in Stromboli, Italy, which appeared to turn into an impromptu champagne cruise.

White parties have been all the rave this summer. autumn is slowly kicking in and old coats and cardigans are being unearthed from their hiding places. ..But that does not in any way mean you can’t rock an all white outfit or throw an all white everything party! My last post about the ELLE’s 20th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration, where  almost everyone looked radiant in white has put me in the mood for some hot white fabulousness!

Save your bright and bold accessories for your all white everything look. With white, anything goes. Got red shoes? A blue hat?  Yellow purse? Studded biker? Killer lace-ups? I’ve missed doing my weekly sizzling out and about sightings. But our favourite fashion loving celebrities have just been slaying lately I just to rekindle this feature. Let’s see who wore what where this week.

Newly engaged Ciara graced the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show at Lexington Avenue Armory with her flawless self in a navy silk-satin drape dress with a high slit from the Fall 2013 Prabal Gurung collection. I don’t know about this crazy rumour going that Ciara is pregnant but she’s certainly glowing. Estelle was also at the Victoria’s Secret show. She worked a black leather dress with zip detailing. Knee-high boots and a turban finished her look.  Lala Anthony came out to slay in a blue fitting dress, highlighted locks and a beat face. Nude Louboutin pumps completed her look. Pretty!

Meagan Good came out in a sheer LBD and black satin Christian Louboutin pumps at the the GQ Men Of The Year Party. The see through top almost ruined this otherwise chic look. Her face is gorgeous though.

Lupita Nyongo’o was also in attendance at the GQ Men of The Year Awards and shone like a gem in a £771.85 Cushnie et Ochs dusty pink cut out jersey dress. She added white Christian Louboutin pumps to her look.Get into that skin tone! And am glad she wear bright lip colours, works well for her. Pharrell Williams and his wife Helen Lasichanh were also in tow. They are a cute pair. Trey Songz and his ex Tanaya Henry came as friends. He also posed for a few snaps with Serge Ibaka, Keri Hilson’s boo.

Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka were all about letting the ladies drool… Long time no see, Kid Cudi! And Aziz Ansari.

Jennifer Hudson had a spotlight moment when she was honoured with her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The singer picked a white Stella McCartney dress and Gianvantino Rossi PVC pumps for the event. Congrats JHud! The short hair is looking nice too!

Naomie Harris was to die for at the LA Premiere Of ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ . Naomie opted for a pale blue Vionnet dress with plunging sides. The cut outs highlight her sculpted figure.

Julissa Bermudez wasn’t one to miss the H&M Isabel Marant VIP Pre Shop Event at H&M. She came in this season’s plaid top, a leather look skirt and loafers from Zara.

Yvonne Nelson turned 28 and celebrated on the beach in her birthday suit. What better way? Loving the black two piece. Happy birthday Yvonne Nelson:)

What is she eating…or doing?! Nia Long stays looking young and fabulous. She slayed in classic white dress at the ’The Best Man Holiday’ screening at the Chelsea Bow Ties Cinemas in NYC.

Her co-stars Sanaa Lathan, Melissa De Sousa and Taye Diggs also looks cute.

Kim Kardashian and a third of the Kardashian Klan came to slay at the Women In Entertainment Breakfast event. Kim who has been seen in slew of monochrome outfits since her first post-pregnancy appearance donned colour for a change. A bright citrine-coloured drape satin dress teamed with a bright yellow Max Mara  mustard coat and her favourite Tom Ford chain link sandals were her choice pairings for the event.

She kept her makeup light with a light wine -coloured lipstick, perfect for winter.

Believe it or not, I love this! It screams yellow overboard but somehow it works.

Willow Smith is so pretty! Her style is effortless and she seemed enviably so at the Roc Nation brunch in an ‘Aint No Wifey’ crop tee and a fringed skirt. Love her curly ‘fro too.
